This is my second year to run the Hood to Coast...Am I crazy? No, I just think it's a good thing to think of others instead of self, which is the ONLY reason I am running again (no arm twisting SLJ). I'm excited to be doing this for a purpose, to raise money for the Portland chapter of HOPEworldwide. Please please help me by donating to this great cause! Please!, yes I am begging.
These are my feet before HTC, and my daughter's mini-me feet, if you help me raise my goal I may just show you my feet after HTC....blisters and fallen-off nails and all!
Heels for Hope is an adventure fund raiser for the Portland Chapter of HOPEworldwide. 12 runners will work as a team in the famous Hood to Coast Relay Race; raising money for HOPEworldwide...and running for glory. To learn more about HOPEworldwide click here
Our team is sponsored by the Portland International church of Christ, an official affiliate of HOPEworldwide and host for the Portland Chapter of HOPEworldwide. When you make a donation to our team your money will be received by the church and passed directly on to HOPEworldwide. The church does this service for free, taking no percentage of the donation. This way we're able to make use of the church's tried and true online donation service and create websites like this one without any extra expense...so more money goes to the cause instead of into administrative expenses.
